AI IN PRODUCTION

Nano Banana Pro for motion design: uses and advantages

Google DeepMind’s image model, also known as Gemini 3 Pro Image. It generates and edits images and can help prepare visual concepts and frame variations from references.

Advantages in a workflow

  • Editing an existing image using instructions.
  • Multiple visual references.
  • Useful for detailed visual concepts and text within an image.

An example of project use

Assign each reference a role: subject shape, materials, lighting or environment. Separate what must remain from what may change in the instructions. Compare versions against one criterion at a time. Use the selected frame as an input for video generation or as an element in the composite.

What to check

References do not guarantee identical geometry, lettering or details. A sequence needs visual-consistency checks. Pro access and limits depend on the service and account; the model name does not imply every capability is available in every interface.

Connecting it with classical production

Sessions approach the tool through a project task: what it accelerates, what inputs it needs and how to review the output. Combine it with design, animation and compositing.
