Where AI fits into production
At the idea stage, an assistant can help clarify the brief and compare approaches. An image generator can produce styleframes or environment options. A video model can test movement or create a specific shot. A voice service can provide narration for the edit. These are different tasks; a single model rarely covers the entire project.
A practical CG + AI sequence
- Clarify the brief and constraints: format, main subject, duration and style.
- Prepare a reference frame, composition and supporting references.
- Generate several options for one task and compare them.
- Check motion, detail and consistency between shots.
- Combine the assets with CG, typography and audio in After Effects.
- Revise and adapt the result.
When you need exact geometry, repeatable camera movement or controlled lighting, keep that part of the work in 3D.
What to check in generated material
Do not judge only the first impressive frame. Check the subject throughout the shot, text and small details, motion, perspective changes and whether revisions are feasible. Compare failed attempts against one specific issue so you know what to change in the input or prompt. Budget for paid generations and subscriptions separately from training.
