Advantages in a workflow
- Text-based narration and voice choices.
- Testing different pacing and delivery.
- Prompted sound effects for actions and atmosphere.
An example of project use
Start with the script and the duration of the section. Divide narration into meaningful parts, check pronunciation and select a take that fits the edit. For effects, describe the sound, its character and its role in the scene. Adjust levels and pauses in your editor and check that narration works with the rest of the soundtrack.
What to check
Listen carefully to names, stress patterns and technical terms. Commercial-use permissions depend on the plan and terms. Voice cloning requires an authorised source recording and the speaker’s consent; standard available voices can be used for practice.
Connecting it with classical production
Sessions approach the tool through a project task: what it accelerates, what inputs it needs and how to review the output. Combine it with design, animation and compositing.
