AI IN PRODUCTION

Claude for motion design: uses and advantages

Anthropic’s AI assistant for text, documents and code. In a motion project it can help structure a brief, break down a task and draft a script or portfolio text.

Advantages in a workflow

  • Discussing an idea and success criteria in a conversation.
  • Working with documents and code.
  • Breaking down a longer task into clear steps.

An example of project use

Give the assistant context: what you are making, the audience, constraints and required output. Instead of asking for something attractive, request a concrete deliverable: a shot list, alternative approaches, a checklist or a case-study draft. For automation, define the action and limits first and test proposed code on a project copy.

What to check

The assistant can make factual, parameter-name and coding mistakes. Check recommendations against documentation and the actual result. Claude and Claude Code are related but distinct ways of working; ordinary chat does not automatically provide all file or terminal operations.

Connecting it with classical production

Sessions approach the tool through a project task: what it accelerates, what inputs it needs and how to review the output. Combine it with design, animation and compositing.
