Foundations: learn motion design, 3D and AI from scratch

Two months of practice in After Effects, Cinema 4D and Redshift. Build design and animation foundations, introduce AI into your workflow and complete your own short motion project.

Who Foundations is for

If you are starting from scratch, the programme gives you a sequence: understand composition and movement, learn the tools and finish a piece. If you have tried tutorials but struggle to complete projects, sessions connect individual techniques to a finished film. Hand-drawing skills are not a prerequisite; consistent practice and the willingness to revise your work matter more.

What you will study

  1. Weeks 1–2: composition, colour, typography, the After Effects interface, keyframes and curves.
  2. Weeks 3–4: animation, shapes, masks, basic tracking and compositing.
  3. Weeks 5–6: AI for ideas, images and video material; defining the task and selecting usable results.
  4. Weeks 7–8: a Cinema 4D scene, Redshift lighting and materials, rendering and final assembly.

The topics support one project. Unreal Engine is not included in this programme.

How practice works

Work on your short film from references and first scenes to final assembly. Independent practice between sessions is essential. Reviews focus on actual frames, timing and revisions. The one-to-one format includes 16 sessions: eight of 60 minutes and eight of 90 minutes, totalling 20 hours. Group learning starts with a small group of five or more; the start date and schedule are agreed before training begins.

Price and outcome

Group Foundations costs ₽34,999 per person for the full course. One-to-one learning costs ₽80,000, or four payments of ₽20,000. All programmes allow instalments; the group payment schedule is agreed before the start. Software and AI subscriptions are separate. The programme outcome is one completed short motion film.
